What changed
Rhythm Shooting ties the release to a stick cadence rather than a single timing point. That means a script cannot simply learn one offset — it has to hold a window that itself shifts with animation, fatigue and contest state.
Why fixed-offset scripts drift
A fixed offset is calibrated against one state of the game. When 2K adjusts shot timing, the offset is now wrong everywhere at once, and the user experiences it as 'the script stopped working'. Nothing broke; the target moved.
Peak's AI Auto-Green is the counter to this: it evaluates the window rather than replaying a delay, which is why it survives tuning passes that flatten the rest of the field.
Adapting your own setup
Keep controller settings stable while you evaluate a script, change one variable at a time, and re-test in live play rather than the gym. If you change jumpshot animations, regenerate the profile instead of nudging values.
